Energy and space saving solution for TSS removal at chemical company
DOW Stade is a chemical company in the north of Germany. Multiple ASTRASEPARATOR® units combined with upstream flocculation tanks pre-treat surface water for the production of process water. The implementation of ASTRASEPARATOR® introduces a compact settling stage instead of a conventional settling tank. The flocculation tanks were designed for hydraulic flocculation. They do not use mixers and thus use less energy than mechanical flocculation.
ASTRASEPERATOR® contributes to saving space for any application that requires separation of liquids and solids through settling.
