Tongliao Meihua Biological Sci-tech Co., Ltd. is a wholly held subsidiary of Hebei Meihua Monosodium Glutamate Group Co., Ltd.
Over 18,900 m3/d wastewater with ammonium concentration over 600 mg/l needs to be treated. Probably it is the highest ammonium load in one factory in the world, which means the highest cost of water treatment.
The ammonium removal efficiency of the 6700 m3 ANAMMOX® reactor reached over 95% in less than one month. The bioreactor is conveniently controllable just by tuning the dissolved oxygen concentration in water.
