Removal of ammonia, nitrate, COD/BOD and TSS: several projects with Paques
The waterboard Southern Water UK and Paques already carried out seven projects and their partnership has a bright future to look forward to with more projects being planned. At Sewage Treatment Works (STW) Central, Paques already installed seven ASTRASAND® sand filtration installations, together with the frame contractor 4Delivery. ASTRASAND® works with a continuous sand filtration for the removal of:
- Ammonia
- Nitrate
- COD/BOD
- TSS
