Coca-Cola

Sustainable water treatment with Paques technologies

Coca-Cola is rolling out a source water protection plan for all their bottling plants and aims to be the beverage industry leader in energy efficiency and climate protection.

Coca-Cola and Paques have already carried out many water treatment projects together. Wastewater of soft drink production is extremely well suited for anaerobic treatment, allowing Coca-Cola to meet discharge requirements, to reduce discharge costs and to generate green energy.

Eleven production sites of Coca-Cola Brazil use BIOPAQ® anaerobic treatment and some also combine this with CIRCOX® technology: aerobic treatment at small footprint. In Europe, Coca-Cola bottling plants in Spain, France and Germany also chose Paques technology for their effluent treatment.
