Water treatment installations expand in step with paper production capacity
SAICA produces sustainable solutions for paper and board packaging. This family owned business was founded over 70 years ago, has operations in three European countries and a paper production of two million per year.
Since 1992 SAICA has installed eight BIOPAQ® plants, keeping step with the expansion of its paper production. The most recent project was at the mill in Venizel, France, where a BIOPAQ®IC was installed, a THIOPAQ® gas scrubber and a BIOPAQ®Biogas Flare. Also, Paques modified the existing aerobic plant in order to meet very strict direct discharge criteria.
