Jos Pâques receives honorary doctorate from Delft University of Technology

Delft University of Technology confers an honorary doctorate on Jos Pâques, owner and founder of the water technology company Paques. The conferring will take place during the celebration of the 170th Dies Natalis of Delft University of Technology on Tuesday the 10th of January 2012.

Delft University of Technology wants to honor Jos Pâques for his authoritative entrepreneurship in the field of environmental biotechnology. Particularly his capacity and courage to scale up developments at universities to industrial scale and subsequently to valorize these developments worldwide, is appreciated.

Over the past decades a wide variety of technologies has been developed and successfully introduced to the market. A portfolio of around 15 sustainable technologies offers the opportunity to provide integrated solutions to the market that combine water reuse, energy production and reclamation of valuable resources.
