Video: AlgaePARC
Micro algae are considered to be a promising future source of biofuel, protein and chemicals. The productivity of algae per squeare meter is much higher than that of normal crops, and they do not compete with food production. In order to develop the best possible production system for algae, Wageningen University asked Paques to build a unique turn key test site. AlgaePARC is the first plant in the world where four distinct algae production systems will be meticulously tested and compared.
